The main challenge was creating a multifunctional environment within a restricted volume while preserving the existing structure. Low ceiling height, narrow footprint (10000 mm x 6000 mm structure with a 2400 mm ceiling height) and limited local manufacturing capacity constrained design options. Additionally, the space needed to accommodate two distinct user groups: pilot candidates who would use the café as a focused study environment and those seeking a place for social interaction and relaxation. Balancing these different needs, while maintaining a strong brand identity and ensuring user comfort, required efficient planning and adaptable solutions to transform limitations into defining features.
